The Senegalese Ligue 2 continues its 8th round of matches this weekend, featuring several key fixtures in the race for the top spots. New league leaders AS Douanes (14 points) travel to face DUC (8th, 9 points). Riding high after three consecutive victories, the Customs Officers are aiming for a fourth straight win to solidify their position at the top of the table.

Second in the standings, Guelewaars of Fatick (13 pts) host Oslo FA (11th, 7 pts). The newly promoted Fatick side, who have made a promising start to the season, are determined to secure a home victory to maintain the pressure on AS Douanes.

After a 2-0 defeat to Ndiambour last week, Niarry Tally will be looking to bounce back when they host Port (15th, 6 pts). A victory would allow the Dakar side to stay close to the league leaders.

Still near the top of the table, Diambars FC (4th, 11 pts) will travel to face AS Kaffrine (13th, 7 pts). At the Stade Aline Sitoé Diatta, Essamaye FC (12th, 7 pts), currently struggling, will try to get back on track against Teranga SC (7th, 9 pts).

At the Maniang Soumaré stadium, Amitié FC will face Thiès FC in the highly anticipated derby of the railway capital. Meanwhile, AS Saloum (5th, 10 pts) will host AS Bambey (9th, 8 pts) at the Lamine Gueye stadium, in an important match between two teams desperate for points.

At the Alboury Ndiaye stadium, Ndiambour will host Jamono Fatick. An interesting duel between two teams determined to secure the three points and stay in touch with the leading teams.
