Ligue des champions : Les cadors assurent, Jackson retrouve son ancien club
The first day of the Champions League continued this Wednesday. At the Allianz Arena in Munich, the clash of European powerhouses pitted Bayern, Nicolas Jackson's new club, against Chelsea, his former team. The Senegalese international came on in added time (90+1) to replace Harry Kane, who scored twice (27th and 63rd) in Bayern's 3-1 victory.
At the Parc des Princes, reigning European champions Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Atalanta Bergamo 4-0 thanks to goals from Marquinhos (3rd), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (39th), Nuno Mendes (51st) and Gonçalo Ramos (90+1). A great start for PSG, despite the absences of Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué.
At Anfield, Liverpool and their recruits valued at half a billion euros barely beat Atlético Madrid (3-2).
Finally, at the Johan Cruyff Arena, Ajax Amsterdam were surprised by Inter Milan (0-2). The Italians, last season's finalists, won thanks to a brace from Marcus Thuram (42nd and 47th).
