Liste de Pape Thiaw : Moustapha Mbow, un roc débarque dans la tanière
Pape Bouna Thiaw unveiled this Thursday the list of 26 players selected to play the 7th and 8th days of the World Cup qualifiers against Sudan (September 5) and DR Congo (September 8).
While Malick Thiaw and Mamadou Sarr were expected to join the national team, Moustapha Mbow was ultimately called up by the coach. A central defender for Paris FC, he had a solid season that largely contributed to the capital club's return to the top flight of Senegalese football.
Trained at the Darou Salam Academy, Moustapha Mbow played for Stade de Reims, Nîmes Olympique and Seraing (Belgium). In 2023, he returned to France to Paris FC where he quickly became one of the pillars of the defense. A powerful central defender (1m92, 82 kg), he brings a complementary profile to balance a hinge composed mainly of left-footers (Kalidou Koulibaly, Moussa Niakhaté and Abdou Diallo).
A finalist in the U20 CAN in 2019, the native of Guédiawaye appears to be a relevant choice in the process of rejuvenating the den.

Élite du football français et non sénégalais
Elite du football SENEGALAIS meme si ça vous fait mal et le fait de jouer en France ne vous rend pas français pour autant. Et pour info les meilleurs joueurs du monde sont tous africains
