Lutte : Le duel Balla Gaye 2-Franc bloqué par une guerre de promoteurs
The highly anticipated fight between Balla Gaye 2 and Franc may not happen. The reason: a conflict between promoters is complicating the organization of this clash.
Promoter Baye Ndiaye has committed to organizing Balla Gaye 2's next fight before the end of the season. The head of Albourakh Events assures that the Lion of Guédiawaye will indeed return to the arena, even though the bout against Franc seems difficult to finalize at the moment. The root cause of this impasse is a rivalry between promoters.
On one side, Baye Ndiaye, brother of former promoter Aziz Ndiaye, manages Balla Gaye 2's fights. On the other, Mansour Ba, CEO of Jambaar Productions, manages Franc's fights, nicknamed "Ndiago Or." Franc has signed two fights with the company for the 2025-2026 season, the first of which has already taken place against Tapha Tine.
Under these conditions, holding the Balla Gaye 2-Franc duel looks complicated, especially since Baye Ndiaye has ruled out the idea of a co-production with Jambaar Productions.
However, the promoter wants to reassure his protégé's supporters. According to him, several formidable opponents are ready to face Balla Gaye 2 if the duel against Franc does not materialize.
“This season, I’m the one who’s going to organize Balla Gaye’s fight. If it’s not against Franc, it will be against Ada Fass, Tapha Tine or even Talfa. In fact, Tapha Tine’s team called me to tell me that their wrestler is ready for a third confrontation with Balla Gaye,” Baye Ndiaye said on Lutte TV.
