Man City : un score sévère selon Guardiola
Almost tipped as favorites before the match, Manchester City were ultimately outclassed by Real Madrid (0-3) on Wednesday. Pep Guardiola will likely disagree with this assessment. While acknowledging the impressive performance by Los Blancos, the Sky Blues manager still believes the final scoreline was a bit harsh on his team.
"The result is clear, but we still have 90 minutes to play. They had three chances in the first half, and they scored three goals thanks to their talent. They are always very good on the counter-attack. We reached their penalty area several times, but the final pass let us down. They defended very well, with great solidarity, staying very deep. And those quick transitions... The result is tough. Now it's time for dinner, rest, and day by day, we will regain our morale to try and generate some good momentum before the second leg," the former FC Barcelona coach told Movistar.
