Match amical : l’Iran s’incline face au Nigéria

Despite the ongoing war in the Middle East, Iran is actively continuing its preparations for the 2026 World Cup. This Friday, the Iranian national team faced Nigeria in a friendly match.

The match went in favour of the Super Eagles, who won with a score of 2-1. Moses Simon opened the scoring, before striker Akor Adams doubled the lead from a Lookman assist in the 51st minute.

Iran reduced the gap thanks to Mehdi Taremi in the 67th minute, but were unable to equalize.

Despite the situation in the Gulf, Iran fully intends to make a good showing at the next World Cup.
