Metz: Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly, met fin à sa grève et effectue son retour à l'entraînement

After striking last week, Senegalese international striker Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly (4 caps, 1 goal) for FC Metz, returned to training on Tuesday. The 26-year-old took part in the group recovery session ahead of Sunday's match against Paris FC for Matchday 3 .

The strike has ended for Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly. The Senegalese international striker (4 caps, 1 goal) from FC Metz returned to training this Tuesday at 3 p.m., for the collective recovery session before the match against Paris FC, Sunday at 5:15 p.m. as part of the 3rd matchday of Ligue 1.

Sabaly had refused to take part in the sessions last week, instead working alone in the gym, in an effort to speed up his departure to Middlesbrough. This deprived him of the trip to Lyon. After the match, Metz sporting director Frédéric Arpinon lamented the situation and reiterated that " it's not the player who's in charge," and that he "will not leave until the club finds its way."

FC Metz are demanding €5 million to let their striker, who scored 12 goals in Ligue 2 last season, leave and is under contract until June 2026.
