Prix Marc-Vivien Foé 2026 : Deux Sénégalais et un Malien finalistes
The race for the Marc-Vivien Foé Award enters its final stretch with the announcement of the finalists for the 2026 edition. This award, given every year, recognizes the best African player playing in Ligue 1.
This year, Senegal has particularly distinguished itself with two representatives in the final: Lamine Camara, who shone for AS Monaco, and Moussa Niakhaté, a defensive stalwart for Olympique Lyonnais. Alongside them is Mamadou Sangaré from Mali, who made a name for himself with RC Lens.
These three players will attempt to succeed Achraf Hakimi, winner of the previous edition. The winner will be announced on May 11th.
