Qualifications Coupe du monde 2026 : Le Ghana décroche son billet
In a strong position heading into the final matchday, Ghana secured their qualification for the 2026 World Cup. The Black Stars, who hosted the Comoros, won 1-0. Mohammed Kudus scored the only goal of the match in the 47th minute.
Thanks to this narrow victory, Ghana (25 points) qualified for a second consecutive World Cup. In the same group, Madagascar (19 points) finished in second place, despite its heavy defeat in Mali (4-1).
After Morocco, Algeria, Egypt and Tunisia, Ghana thus becomes the fifth African country to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
