Qualifications Coupe du monde 2026 : Le Ghana se rapproche d’une seconde qualification consécutive
The Ghana national team took a big step towards qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. The Black Stars comfortably dominated the Central African Republic on Wednesday (5-0).
Thanks to this resounding victory, Jordan Ayew's teammates now have a three-point lead over Madagascar, with a goal difference of +16 to +8 for the Malagasy. Ghana (1st, 22 pts), who host the Comoros on the final day, are therefore almost qualified for the World Cup, which will take place in Canada, the United States, and Mexico, while the Malagasy are guaranteed a place in the play-offs.
On the other hand, it was disappointment for the Eagles of Mali who, despite their victory in Chad (2-0), were eliminated.
