Sacré Onze d'Or : Dembélé remporte un trophée important dans la course au Ballon d'Or
Announced as one of the favorites for the 2025 Ballon d'Or, Ousmane Dembélé is pulling ahead of his direct competitors. The Paris Saint-Germain striker, currently injured, has been named the Golden Eleven by the French media outlet "Onze Mondial."
The French international, who had an exceptional season with the Parisian club, winning the Champions League, was voted by the readers of "Onze Mondial" ahead of Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappé. With 32.5% of the vote, the PSG and French national team player beat the Spanish prodigy from FC Barcelona (30%) and the French striker from Real Madrid (12.5%).
"I'm proud. It proves that you've worked hard throughout the season and even beyond, over all these years to win individual trophies. It means a lot to me, my sacrifices and performances are recognized," said the Parisian after receiving his award.
With 12 days to go until the Ballon d'Or is awarded, this individual trophy confirms Ousmane Dembélé's status as the favorite for the most prestigious of individual distinctions.
