The battle between Senegalese players for the Saudi Arabian league title promises to be fiercely contested. After Sadio Mané's goal on Wednesday in Al Nassr's resounding 5-0 victory over Al Najma, Kalidou Koulibaly responded by finding the back of the net himself.

The Senegalese defender scored Al Hilal's third goal in the spectacular victory against Al Shabab (5-3), in a match counting towards the 24th day.

With the two teams tied (2-2), the Lions' captain allowed his team to regain the lead with a decisive goal (45+2).

Thanks to this success, Al Hilal (58 pts) climbs to 3rd place in the standings, tied on points with Al Nassr (2nd, 58 pts) of Sadio Mané who play this Sunday at Al Fayha, and one point behind the leader Al Ahly (1st, 59 pts) of Edouard Mendy.

The race for the title is thus intensifying between the Senegalese internationals, all determined to lead their club to the top of the Saudi championship.
