With just twelve days to go until the ninth round of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, Senegal's players have been in fine form on European pitches and elsewhere. Ismaïla Sarr, Cherif Ndiaye, and Sadio Mané have all found the back of the net, while Édouard Mendy and Pape Matar Sarr have also distinguished themselves for their clubs.

In France

On Matchday 6, Nice, with Yehvann Diouf and Antoine Mendy starting, lost 1-1 to Moustapha Mbow's Paris FC, who played the entire match. At the Moustoir, Lorient beat Monaco 3-1.
