Ligue 2 sénégalaise : Ndiambour, Abdoul Magib Diagne saisit la justice pour « licenciement abusif »
The case of the dismissal of the Ndiambour de Louga coach is far from over. Following the decision by the Louga club president to terminate the contracts of head coach Abdoul Magib Diagne and technical director Amara Traoré, Abdoul Magib Diagne has decided to take legal action.
Abdoul Magib Diagne believes he was the victim of an "unfair dismissal." According to his statements, he received no official notification regarding the termination of his contract, let alone a dismissal letter. He considers this situation unjust and contrary to applicable regulations.
“I learned of my dismissal on social media after the match we won against Amitié (1-0). However, I have a valid contract from October 2025 to June 2026. So far, I have not received any official notification of termination of contract. That is why I have taken legal action to resolve this dispute,” he said.
The former coach of Linguère de Saint-Louis deplores what he calls amateurish management, which shows little respect for local football professionals. For him, this affair illustrates once again the precarious situation faced by many Senegalese coaches, who are often dismissed without clear procedures or respect for contractual obligations.
"This situation serves as a reminder of the precarious position of local coaches, who can be dismissed overnight without explanation or guarantee," he added bitterly.
On the side of Ndiambour de Louga (Ligue 2), no official reaction has yet been recorded regarding this legal procedure.
