Match Sonacos Vs Guédiawaye FC: La LSFP condamne les actes de violence et annonce l’ouverture d’une enquête
The Senegalese Professional Football League (LSFP) strongly condemned the incidents that occurred this Sunday during the 5th matchday, in the game between Guédiawaye FC and SONACOS, at the stadium
Amadou Barry.
"After the visitors' second goal, supporters invaded the pitch at the end of the match, causing the game to be interrupted," the LSFP's communications unit said in a statement, adding that an investigation will be opened to identify those responsible.
"The league reserves the right to take all necessary sanctions at the conclusion of this investigation. It reiterates its commitment to ensuring the safety of the players and to providing an optimal playing environment," the statement said.
The source added: "While the LSFP is multiplying its initiatives to make the championship more attractive, these isolated and unsportsmanlike behaviors attempt to tarnish the ongoing efforts."
The LSFP, however, welcomed the recent acts of fair play: the letter of thanks from Stade de Mbour to AS Pikine, as well as the positive images seen this Sunday after Teungueth FC - AS Pikine, where the supporters of the two teams left the stadium together in a friendly spirit.

Oui il yavait dérapage, les supporteres ne devraient pas envahir le terrain mais le 2e but l'arbitre ne devrait pas l'accorder il yavait de 2 ballons sur le terrain.

Tant que la ligue de football professionnel n'adopte pas des sanctions sévères comme le retrait d'ah minimum 5 points pour des actes de violences de ce genre on va continuer à en voir encore sur nos terrains de football. Il faut retirer d'emblée 5 points à guediawaye en attendant les enquêtes
