Liga espagnole : le Real se rate à Osasuna
On Saturday, playing away at Osasuna, Real Madrid had the opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the table against FC Barcelona. But the Madrid side missed their chance.
After four consecutive victories in all competitions, Kylian Mbappé's teammates suffered a 2-1 defeat in La Liga's 25th round. Lacking inspiration, Real Madrid were caught off guard in the first half, conceding the opening goal from a penalty converted by Ante Budimir (38th minute).
In the second half, Real Madrid responded and thought they had snatched a draw thanks to Vinícius Júnior's equalizer (73rd minute). But in the dying moments of the match, Raúl García made the difference in the Madrid penalty area to secure a precious victory for the home side (90+1).
Despite this setback, Real Madrid remains top of the table with a two-point lead over FC Barcelona. The Catalans, who host Levante this Sunday (4:15 PM), will have the opportunity to reclaim first place with a victory.
