Supporters arrêtés au Maroc : La Fédération sénégalaise de football se veut rassurante
The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has published a statement to inform the public of the close monitoring of the situation of Senegalese supporters currently held in Morocco following the incidents that occurred during the final of the AFCON-2025.
In its message, the governing body of Senegalese football emphasizes that the matter is being handled "with the utmost care" and benefits from the full mobilization of the Senegalese state at the highest level. This action is being carried out in close collaboration with the relevant Moroccan authorities, in accordance with the fraternal and historical relations that bind Dakar and Rabat.
The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) clarifies that, under the coordination of the Senegalese ambassador to Morocco, all necessary steps are being taken to ensure the detention conditions of the supporters in question. The objective is to guarantee respect for their fundamental rights and to ensure they receive appropriate legal assistance throughout the proceedings.
In solidarity with its supporters, the federation reiterates the importance of their unwavering commitment to the national teams and expresses its steadfast support. Confidence is also expressed in the ongoing diplomatic and legal proceedings, with the FSF stating its conviction that a favorable outcome will be reached as soon as possible.
