Tennis: Carlos Alcaraz remporte l'Open d'Australie en battant Novak Djokovic

World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz won his first Australian Open on Sunday, his seventh Grand Slam title, by beating Serbian Novak Djokovic (4th) 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5 in the final in Melbourne.

At 22 years and 272 days old, the Spaniard became the youngest player in history to win a title in each of the four Grand Slam tournaments. He had already won each of the other three Grand Slam tournaments twice: Roland-Garros (2023, 2025), Wimbledon (2023, 2024), and the US Open (2022, 2025). He also denied Djokovic a record 25th Grand Slam title.
