Tournoi UFOA/A Féminin U17 : le Sénégal termine par une défaite
Senegal's U17 women's national team ended the UFOA/A tournament with a defeat. The Lioncelles were beaten by Liberia (2-1).
Serena Lena Gomis's charges got off to a poor start, conceding an own goal from Ndeye Habi Barro in the 39th minute. Moments before halftime, Liberia doubled their lead through Musu Nuah (41st minute).
In the second half, Mballo Ndiaye reduced the deficit for Senegal (68th), but the Liberians were able to maintain their advantage and win (2-1). Despite this defeat, Senegal finished in second place in the tournament, behind Sierra Leone.
