Transfert : le Bayern ne conservera pas Nicolas Jackson, Fenerbahçe à l’affût
Nicolas Jackson's German adventure is drawing to a close. Bayern Munich has decided not to exercise the purchase option included in the Senegalese striker's loan. At the end of the season, the 24-year-old will return to Chelsea, before a new chapter perhaps begins elsewhere.
Having arrived in Bavaria last summer on loan with a conditional clause, Jackson needed to play 40 matches as a starter to automatically trigger a permanent transfer. The striker failed to meet these criteria. In one season, he participated in 21 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 1 assist, insufficient to convince the Munich management to continue the adventure.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich have already informed Chelsea of their decision not to exercise their option to buy. The African champion is therefore set to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
This return, however, could be short-lived. According to Topskills Sports UK, several clubs are closely monitoring Jackson's situation, including Fenerbahçe, who are ready to make a move to bolster their attacking options. This interest is logical for a player who previously played for Villarreal, possessing a powerful profile and the ability to trouble defenses. Given his qualities and experience, the former Casa Sports striker should have no trouble finding a new club.
