Transfert à l’Ajax : Maximilian Ibrahimović marche sur les traces de son père
A quarter of a century after Zlatan Ibrahimović's memorable spell at Ajax Amsterdam, the Ibrahimović name is once again echoing through the stands of the Johan Cruyff Arena. This time, it's Maximilian, the son of the Swedish legend, who is preparing to write his own story in the colors of the Dutch club.
Nineteen-year-old Maximilian Ibrahimović has officially joined Ajax from AC Milan. The Amsterdam club confirmed the winger's arrival on loan with an option to buy. For its part, the Lombardy club included a buy-back clause, demonstrating the confidence it has in the young player's potential.
Trained in Italy, Maximilian honed his skills in Milan's youth teams, where he distinguished himself with his speed, directness, and ability to create chances with the ball at his feet. His move to Ajax is a logical progression within a club renowned for its youth development program and its capacity to unearth young talent.
Beyond the sporting aspect, this transfer carries a strong symbolic dimension. By joining Ajax, Maximilian follows in the footsteps of his illustrious father, who wore the same jersey in the early 2000s, before establishing himself as one of the greatest strikers of his generation.
For the young Swede, the objective is clear: to gradually establish himself in the Ajax squad and convince the club to exercise their option to buy, thus securing his long-term future. A significant challenge, but also a unique opportunity to build his own legend, far from the looming shadow of Zlatan.
Ajax, for its part, hopes to have found a new talent capable of making a lasting impression, and why not, of writing a new page in the already rich history of the Ibrahimović name in Amsterdam.
