Transfert : la pépite de Diambars, Yaya Diémé rejoint officiellement RC Strasbourg
After a convincing trial at Chelsea in January 2025, the young Senegalese striker Yaya Diémé has officially signed with RC Strasbourg. Aged 18 and trained at the Diambars Academy, the winger will join the Alsatian club in January 2026 from ASC Diambars. A U20 international and participant in the last Africa Cup of Nations for that age group, he is about to take a decisive step in his young career.
According to BlueCo Xtra, Yaya Diémé has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Strasbourg as part of the BlueCo project, the consortium that owns the French club and Chelsea. His arrival in Alsace is scheduled for early 2026, where he will join the team managed by Liam Rosenior.
Before heading to France, the Diambars academy graduate will undergo an intensive one-month training camp at Chelsea. This immersion within the London club should allow him to gradually familiarize himself with top-level European football, while also facilitating his adaptation to French football.
Yaya Diémé is thus following in the footsteps of other young players in the BlueCo network, notably his compatriot Pape Daouda Diongue, who also went through Chelsea before joining Strasbourg to gain experience.
