Nampalys Mendy's future in England is uncertain. Having arrived at Watford last summer after a successful spell in Ligue 1, the Senegalese midfielder could already be on the move. At 33, the 35-time international remains a valuable asset on the transfer market and is attracting interest from several European clubs.
According to several reliable sources, the Polish club Arka Gdynia, currently 12th in the first division, has made a move for Nampalys Mendy. The Polish side has offered him an 18-month contract with a substantial salary that would make him one of the highest-paid players in the squad. The club aims to leverage his experience to strengthen its midfield and, in the medium term, secure European qualification.
But Poland isn't the only possible destination. AS Monaco, where Mendy was developed and launched his career at the highest level, is also closely monitoring his situation. The club from the Principality, facing numerous injuries in midfield this season, has inquired about the conditions of a potential return for the Senegalese international.
A comeback to Monaco would represent a major sporting challenge for Nampalys Mendy, who would thus maintain significant visibility with a view to the 2026 World Cup. Between an ambitious adventure in Eastern Europe and a return to his roots in Ligue 1, the Senegalese midfielder has several options to fully relaunch the end of his career.
