Week-end des Sénégalais de l’étranger : Jackson et Chérif Ndiaye décisifs, Yehvann Diouf brillant

Less than two weeks before the friendly match against Brazil, Senegalese players based abroad shone on European and Asian pitches. In Germany, Nicolas Jackson scored his first Bundesliga goal. In Turkey, Chérif Ndiaye once again distinguished himself by finding the back of the net in his team's victory.

The overview begins with the French league, where the most prominent Senegalese player was undoubtedly Yehvann Diouf. Despite Nice's last-minute defeat, the Senegalese international goalkeeper delivered a top-level performance. His teammate Antoine Mendy, starting on the right flank, also played a solid match.

On the road against Monaco, with Krépin Diatta in the starting lineup, Moustapha Mbow's Paris FC secured a 1-0 victory. Lamine Camara, still injured, was unavailable. At the Stade Félix-Bollaert, RC Lens, with Abdallah Sima on the bench, defeated Lorient 3-0. For Lorient, Bingourou Kamara remained on the bench, and Sambou Soumano, who came on in the 75th minute, failed to make an impact.

Metz, featuring Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly and Habib Diarra, secured a 2-0 victory away to Nantes. Diarra scored Metz's second goal in the 89th minute, assisted by Sabaly. Meanwhile, Lyon, with Moussa Niakhaté in their lineup, earned a valuable point in Brest with a 0-0 draw.

In England , on matchday 10, Ismaïla Sarr's Crystal Palace secured their second consecutive victory, defeating Brentford 2-0. In the London derby, Pape Matar Sarr's Tottenham (in the starting lineup) lost 1-0 to Chelsea.

West Ham, with El Hadji Malick Diouf in the starting lineup, ended a run of three consecutive defeats with a 3-1 victory over Newcastle. Everton, featuring Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gana Gueye, play on Monday.

In Spain , during the 11th day, Villarreal, with Pape Guèye remaining on the bench, largely beat Rayo Vallecano, with Nöbel Mendy and Pathé Ciss, both starters (4-0).

In Italy, for the 10th matchday, Côme d'Assane Diao, in the starting lineup, delivered a good performance by drawing with Napoli (0-0).

Having come on in the 73rd minute, Cheikh Niasse could not prevent Hellas Verona's defeat against Inter Milan (1-2).

Udinese, without Idrissa Guèye remaining on the bench, beat Atalanta (1-0).

Parma, with Abdoulaye Niakhaté Ndiaye coming on in the 41st minute, lost at home to Bologna (1-3).

Boulaye Dia's Lazio team plays this Monday.

In Belgium , for the 13th matchday, Anderlecht with Ilay Camara (starter) and Moussa Ndiaye (come in at the 75th minute) won against KV Mechelen (3-1).

Ousseynou Niang, starting for Union Saint-Gilloise, won at Zulte Waregem (4-1).

In Turkey , for the 11th matchday, Galatasaray, with Ismail Jakobs in their ranks, were held to a 0-0 draw by Trabzonspor. The Senegalese left-back came on as a substitute in the 74th minute.

Goal scorer and assist provider, Chérif Ndiaye was the main architect of Samsunspor's victory over Konyaspor (1-3).

In Saudi Arabia, the 7th day was bitter for Kalidou Koulibaly, who was sent off despite Al Hilal's victory against Al Shabab (1-0).

Al Ahly, with their captain Edouard Mendy, were held to a draw by Riyadh (1-1).
