The Senegalese internationals once again made their mark this weekend on European and Gulf pitches. Between braces, decisive goals, assists, and honorary distinctions, Bamba Dieng, Sadio Mané, Kalidou Koulibaly, Pape Guèye, and Pathé Ciss distinguished themselves, confirming the Lions' impressive momentum abroad.
The weekend was particularly fruitful for Senegalese internationals playing abroad. Between decisive goals, solid performances, and honorary distinctions, the Lions once again made headlines on European and Gulf pitches.
France
In Ligue 1, Bamba Dieng shone for FC Lorient against Auxerre (2-2). The Senegalese striker scored a brace (19th, 29th minute), bringing his league tally to six goals this season.
At the Stade Jean-Bouin, in Antoine Kombouaré's first match in charge, Moustapha Mbow's Paris FC, who delivered a fine performance, defeated Nice (1-0). Antoine Mendy and Yehvann Diouf remained on the bench for Nice.
Paris Saint-Germain won 1-0 in Le Havre. Ibrahim Mbaye came on for the last twenty minutes (70th minute). For Le Havre, Mory Diaw distinguished himself by saving a penalty from Désiré Doué (79th minute), while Issa Soumaré and Rassoul Ndiaye played the entire match.

Everton, with Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gana Gueye in the starting lineup, secured a 3-2 victory away at Newcastle. Ismaïla Sarr's Crystal Palace suffered a 2-1 defeat at Manchester United.
In his first London derby, Mamadou Sarr, starting for Chelsea, lost to Arsenal (2-1). Meanwhile, Tottenham, with Pape Matar Sarr coming on in the 58th minute, suffered their fourth consecutive defeat against Fulham (2-1).
Spain
In La Liga (26th matchday), Pape Guèye distinguished himself once again by scoring Villarreal's only goal, in a heavy defeat against FC Barcelona (4-1).
At home, Rayo Vallecano, with Pathé Ciss and Nobel Mendy in the starting lineup, were held to a 1-1 draw by Athletic Bilbao. On this occasion, Pathé Ciss, who won the African Cup of Nations last January, was honored by his club for their continental triumph.
Italy
In Serie A (matchday 27), Parma, still without Abdoulaye Niakhaté Ndiaye, were held to a 1-1 draw by Cagliari. Hellas Verona, with Cheikh Tidiane Niasse coming on in the 82nd minute, lost to Napoli 2-1. Boulaye Dia, who entered the game in the 81st minute, couldn't prevent Lazio's 2-0 defeat in Turin.
In Belgium , Ilay Camara started in Anderlecht's resounding 5-1 victory against OH Leuven. Union Saint-Gilloise, without Ousseynou Niang, were held to a 0-0 draw by Westerlo.
In Turkey , Samsunspor, with Cherif Ndiaye (who came on in the 75th minute) on the bench, drew 0-0 with Gaziantep. Galatasaray, with Ismail Jakobs entering the game in the 79th minute, defeated Alanyaspor 3-1.
In Germany , Nicolas Jackson remained on the bench during the Klassiker won by Bayern Munich against Borussia Dortmund (3-2).
Saudi Arabia
The battle between Senegalese players in the Saudi Pro League continues unabated. Playing away at Al Shabab, Kalidou Koulibaly's Al Hilal secured a 5-3 victory. The Lions' captain scored his team's third goal.
Meanwhile, league leaders Al Nassr, with Sadio Mané in the starting lineup, defeated Al Fayha 3-1. The Senegalese number 10 opened the scoring for his club. Finally, Al Ahli, with Édouard Mendy in the starting eleven, secured a 1-0 victory against Al Riyadh. This productive weekend further confirms the impact of Senegalese internationals on the pitch.
