Women’s Basketball League : L’ASC Ville de Dakar enchaîne une deuxième victoire
Two days after their successful opening match against Rwanda's Rwandan Patriotic Army (78-71), ASC Ville de Dakar secured a second victory on Monday in Cairo, Egypt. Couna Ndao's teammates defeated the Congolese team CNSS 62-46.
Dominating in all aspects of the game, ASC Ville de Dakar displayed their power from the outset, winning the first quarter decisively 26-12. In the second quarter, the Congolese team showed improvement, scoring 15 points to Senegal's 8. Despite this resurgence, ASC Ville de Dakar went into halftime with a seven-point lead (34-27).
After the break, the seven-time Senegalese champions maintained their momentum, thanks in particular to the shooting of Mame Khoudia Fall (14 points) and Aminata Ndong (13 points). They took the third quarter 52-32 before comfortably managing the end of the game to win 62-46.
Thanks to this fine victory achieved without forcing their talent, ASC Ville de Dakar has secured a second success in Group C and is already showing its ambitions for this edition.
