"TU FAIS LE GENDRE IDÉAL DEVANT LES CAMÉRAS MAIS EN VRAI T'ES UNE SAL****": LE JOUR OÙ OUKIDJA A "PÉTÉ LES PLOMBS" FACE À MBAPPÉ PENDANT METZ-PSG
In an interview with Metz-based streamer Flodas, posted on February 5th, former FC Metz goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja recounts his heated duels with Kylian Mbappé against PSG. He speaks frankly and, above all, doesn't hold back in his criticism of the French and Real Madrid star.
"Those people feel untouchable." Former FC Metz goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja doesn't exactly hold the former PSG stars in high regard. While he admires Edinson Cavani, he believes Neymar and especially Kylian Mbappé sometimes behaved badly on the pitch. "I had a couple of stupid incidents with Mbappé," the Algerian international (37 years old - 7 caps) admitted in an interview given on February 5th to the Metz-based streamer Flodas. "At first, I didn't know him, but now I know what he's like. If we're losing 1, 2, or 3-0, he'll pick you up and say, 'Excuse me, sorry, I'm sorry.' However, as soon as he senses he's being challenged, that he's not having a good game, or that PSG is losing, he starts insulting mothers, insulting you, telling you to 'go f*** yourself.'"
"Calm down, or you'll impale him."
In a video that has gone viral in the last few hours, the 37-year-old goalkeeper, without a club since leaving IMT Belgrade, recounts an incident that occurred during the Metz-PSG match (1-2) on September 22, 2021, at the Stade Saint-Symphorien. The ball was deliberately put out of play to allow an injured player to receive treatment. From the restart, Mbappé returned the ball to the Metz half but attempted to lob Oukidja. "I said to him, 'Are you crazy? What are you doing?'" Oukidja continued. "He told me, 'Shut your mouth, you little player.' I thought to myself, 'Calm down, or you'll impale him, get a red card, and everyone will jump on you.' I didn't say anything. Bronn and he were insulting each other. I thought, 'Oh yeah, that's top-level football for you.'" End of story? No.
Tensions between the two men flared up again at the end of the match when Achraf Hakimi scored the winning goal for Paris. Oukidja recounts that Mbappé, who wasn't involved in the play, made a detour to insult him ("go f*** your mother, you dirty son of a bitch," according to Oukidja) before celebrating the goal with his teammates. "You don't say things like that to me. I'm a live wire. You pull the pin on me, and I'll charge in," the former Metz goalkeeper continued. "I lost it without thinking. For me, there were no more fans, no more match. It was like replacing the stadium with a boxing ring. In my head, I completely lost it. I told him: 'Listen to yourself, you play the perfect son-in-law in front of the cameras, you act like you speak well. But in reality, you're a real bitch…'"
Tense reunion at the Park
In the ensuing confusion, Neymar pushed the Metz goalkeeper to the ground but received only a verbal warning from the referee. "We're not from the same world," sighed Oukidja, who admitted that every match against PSG, and especially against Kylian Mbappé, "was tense." He then cited a match at the Parc des Princes where he deliberately left his knee on the Parisian's ankle (he kept the photo) and attempted and successfully executed a premeditated dribble past the striker, much to the dismay of his teammate Matthieu Udol.
