SALTIS 2025 : L’Afrique code son futur à Dakar
On November 24 and 25, 2025, the Museum of Black Civilizations in Dakar will be transformed into a laboratory of ideas and technologies for the 4th edition of the Senegal International Exhibition of Algorithms, Science, Technology and Innovation. More than 200 experts from around the world will unveil tangible solutions in strategic areas such as precision agriculture, connected health, and augmented tourism, in line with Vision Senegal 2050.
This 2025 edition stands out for its resolutely utilitarian and inclusive focus. At the heart of the program, the PAS Challenge will test artificial intelligence (AI) in international event management and enriching the tourism experience. The ambition is not only to showcase prototypes, but also to generate immediately deployable applications capable of having a measurable economic and social impact.
In a context where AI is redrawing the global balance of power, Dakar intends to position itself not as a mere spectator, but as a platform for experimentation and dissemination of African innovations. SALTIS is thus becoming a strategic space where science and digital sovereignty advance hand in hand.
