Transport aérien : Le Gouvernement réaffirme sa « ferme volonté de soutenir Air Sénégal et AIBD »

Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko reaffirmed the Government's commitment to sustainably revitalize the national airline Air Senegal through the implementation of a comprehensive emergency plan.

The said plan, developed on the basis of the decisions taken at the Interministerial Council of April 3, 2025, provides in particular for the reconstitution of equity, recapitalization, refinancing as well as the carrying out of a complete financial and organizational audit.

Following a meeting he chaired on Monday, March 16, 2026, in the presence of the relevant ministers, the Prime Minister announced new measures to accelerate this process. "He reaffirmed the Government's firm commitment to supporting Air Sénégal SA and AIBD SA in their recovery and sustainable repositioning at the heart of the national air transport strategy," he declared yesterday at the Council of Ministers meeting at the Presidential Palace.

Air senegal ak AIBD neniou respecter senegalais yi. Ils ont fait trop de ma tay ces dernieres années. Bayi sey bagages benene deuk, ensuite te faire payer pour les recuperer sinon tu attends des semaines voir des mois. Diay la billet bou cher ba paré dem louer des avions minables dans des pays d'europe de l'est. Lou lene dal nio ko tek sene bopp

Il faut arrêter le gâchis avec air Sénégal.il y a plus urgent à faire dans ce pays, la santé,l éducation, autosuffisance alimentaire.
