[En route pour la CAN] Visite guidée du stade de Fès : Un bijou prêt pour la CAN-2025
A true jewel of Moroccan sports infrastructure, the Fes sports complex, often simply called the "Fes Stadium", is preparing to play a major role in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Renovated in June 2025, this 35,000-seat venue combines modernity, functionality and international requirements, confirming the growing strength of the Kingdom of Morocco in hosting major continental competitions.
Inaugurated in 2007, the Fes stadium was chosen to host matches in Group C, including the highly anticipated Nigeria-Tunisia clash, considered the group's highlight, on Matchday 2. The stadium will also host a Round of 16 match, further solidifying its status in this 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Featuring a natural grass pitch meeting CAF standards, the main stadium is surrounded by three fully equipped training annexes, each with dedicated changing rooms, allowing for optimal preparation of the national teams. It includes four changing rooms for players, two for referees, a conference room, and a command center ensuring security and operational management.
The comfort and hospitality of officials, partners, and media have not been overlooked. The stadium features two VIP lounges, two VVIP lounges, 12 skybox suites, and a 194-seat press box, expandable to 300 seats. Outside, the logistics are meticulously planned, with a media and TV compound parking area, a security parking area (for the FA and fire brigade), a VVIP parking area, two VIP parking areas, and a general public parking area, ensuring smooth traffic flow on match days.
With its four main gates, its controlled organization and its modernized facilities, the Fes stadium stands out as one of the key sites of the AFCON-2025.
