The Regional Express Train Operating Company (SETER) hosted, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the signing of a major tripartite partnership agreement with the Assembly of Directors of University Institutes of Technology (ADIUT) and the Rose Dieng France-Senegal University (URDFS).

This agreement aims to create a solid bridge between academic training and the needs of the socio-economic sector, promoting the professional integration of young graduates.

Launch of University Bachelors of Technology (BUT)

The ceremony took place in parallel with the official start of the academic year for students of the University Bachelors of Technology (BUT) at URDFS, enrolled in the following programs: Industrial Engineering and Maintenance (GIM); Logistics and Transport Management (MLT)

Charles Civreis, CEO of SETER, emphasized that his company, which employs over a thousand people, actively participates in the development of training in the transportation sector. He explained: "This agreement will allow URDFS students to complete internships at SETER and gain insight into the professional environment."

Professor Mamadou Sarr, Director General of URDFS, welcomed the partnership, which will guarantee the academic excellence of the training programs and the provision of teaching facilities and experienced professionals.

He highlighted the model proposed by ADIUT: an "innovative model of approach to development and educational engineering" focused on learning and assessment situations to guarantee the acquisition of professional skills.

Laurent Milland, Director of ADIUT, assured that this partnership, by strengthening ties with the socio-economic world, should result in the opening of three other programs in the next two years: Biological Engineering; Administrative and Commercial Management; Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction.

The collaboration also aims to develop joint programs in training, research and entrepreneurship.
