Born in Cap Skirring, in an environment rich in culture and artistic influences, HALA HALA is a complete artist who draws his inspiration from tradition and modernity, skillfully blending afro manding, reggae and world rhythms.

In 2010, he was invited to Gambia, where he gained valuable experience alongside Fyerman, a respected figure in the country's music scene. This immersion marked a turning point in his artistic vision.

Always seeking new experiences, HALA HALA then spent time in Guinea-Bissau, where he learned to speak and sing in Creole, thus enriching his musical identity. This cultural exposure led to a collaboration in 2012 with the artist and producer NATTY (Sierra Leone – Guinea), a collaboration that gave a real boost to his career.

Back in Senegal, he gradually established himself on the scene by performing in numerous concerts, jam sessions and festivals, while developing his talents as a guitarist and performer.

In a desire to improve, he joined the Douta Seck Cultural Center in Dakar, where he obtained a certificate in musical training, consolidating his artistic foundations.

In 2019, HALA HALA released their first reggae album “SILO”, which was well received and opened doors to several major events such as:

the Lyndiane Fest

In 2022, he took another step forward by creating his orchestra “Étoile du Sud”, with which he delivers remarkable performances, notably at the KOOM KOOM Festival, captivating audiences with his energy and authenticity.

Continuing his evolution, he released his second album entitled “BADALA”, confirming his artistic maturity and musical identity.
