In accordance with the recommendations of Serigne Cheikh Saliou Mbacké, Caliph of Serigne Saliou Mbacké, the disciples successfully completed the harvesting work of the millet fields of Khelcom, a vast agricultural domain symbolizing self-denial and devotion in the service of Mouridism.

Under the supervision of Sheikh Amar, whose status as Dieuwrine of Khelcom was renewed this year by the Caliph, disciples from all over the country joined forces to carry out the harvest.

Moving expressions of gratitude

At the end of the work, a veritable shower of testimonies praised Sheikh Amar's commitment and leadership. In the fields, Mouride disciples and leaders expressed their deep gratitude to the man they consider the mastermind of Khelcom's rural activities.

Serigne Moustapha Mbacké Lakram, an eminent religious figure, did not fail to praise the constant efforts of the Dieuwrine:

"Cheikh Amar is the sole project manager of the field work in this agricultural granary. He embodies the vision of Serigne Saliou Mbacké and faithfully perpetuates his work."

Djily Mbow, who came from Diourbel, testifies:

"We came to Khelcom to answer the Caliph's call. Sheikh Amar is a true master of field work. We wish him long life and good health so that he may continue his mission in the service of Serigne Saliou Mbacké."

Serigne Saliou, also from Diourbel, adds:

"We are very happy to have taken part in the harvest. Sheikh Amar is our Godwriter in Khelcom, a dedicated and exemplary man. We pray for his health and success."

Serigne Modou, a disciple from Thiaroye, confides: "We came here with the members of the dahira Massalikul Jinane 313. Participating in Khelcom is a blessing. Cheikh Amar is a true Gaïndé Khelcom, a tireless servant of Serigne Cheikh Saliou."

A field visit marked by the blessing of religious authorities

At the end of the harvest, Sheikh Amar, surrounded by his colleagues and family, visited Khelcom over the weekend. He was warmly welcomed by Serigne Moustapha Mbacké Lakram before making a field visit to see the extent of the work carried out and share a moment of communion with the disciples.

This meeting was marked by prayers, blessings and thanks addressed to Dieuwrine for his constant commitment to the service of Mouridism and Serigne Cheikh Saliou.
