A moving and convivial ceremony was held on Thursday, December 11th at the Noom Hotel to honor the retiring employees of the Senegalese National Lottery (LONASE). In the presence of the Director General, Dr. Toussaint Manga, as well as colleagues, friends, and family, the institution paid a well-deserved tribute to these long-serving employees.

In total, 16 Lonasian agents are now claiming their retirement pension rights after several decades of dedicated service.

In a farewell message filled with gratitude, the Director General, Toussaint Manga, emphasized the crucial importance of human capital within the company. "We are gathered here today to honor these women and men who are not just employees, but builders, pillars, silent artisans who have given body and soul to this institution," he declared.

He noted that each of these employees had dedicated over three decades to LONASE, demonstrating unwavering professionalism and commitment that helped shape the company's history. For Dr. Manga, this celebration marks not an end, but the beginning of a new chapter in his life devoted to family and personal projects.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA), Mamadou Moustapha Camara, also joined in the tributes by praising the remarkable performances achieved by these now former employees.

He emphasized the unbreakable bond between retirees and the institution: "When you retire, it's not that you're leaving us, but that you're staying with us in this large family." On behalf of the entire LONASE community, he expressed sincere gratitude for their contribution to the company's stability.

The ceremony concluded with wishes for well-deserved rest, reminding everyone that retirement is the perfect time to fully enjoy time with loved ones and pursue new dreams.
