«Nous avons échangé récemment plusieurs fois...» : Le Pr. Diomaye revient sur les conseils et les prières de Serigne Mountakha
As reported by Seneweb, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye was received this Saturday in Touba by the Caliph General of the Mourides, to whom he offered the nation's condolences following the passing of Serigne Cheikh Saliou Mbacké, Caliph of Serigne Saliou Mbacké. The Head of State also took the opportunity to express his satisfaction at being received by the patriarch of Darou Miname.
“Certainly, we are in a time of mourning, but I am delighted to be here with you. I recently expressed my desire to visit you. We have spoken on the phone several times recently. During our conversations, you offered me advice, prayers, and recommendations. We have followed your instructions and we thank you immensely,” he declared to the members of his delegation, in the presence of the First Lady, Absa Faye, Ministers Cheikh Diba and Marie Teuw Niane, among others.
