Parc Zoologique de Hann : La vérité sur l’état de santé des Lions
An image circulating on social media for the past few days, showing a starving lion at Hann Zoo, has raised concerns about the health and well-being of the park's animals. However, an on-site investigation by a Seneweb team reveals a very different reality.
A Visit in Anonymity
To ensure the objectivity of its investigation, a Seneweb team visited the Hann Zoological Park anonymously, allowing them to observe the actual situation. This approach ensures that the observations gathered accurately reflect the park's normal operating conditions.
During our visit, we observed that the lions in the park are in good general health. Contrary to allegations of malnutrition, the felines were being fed donkey meat at the time of our visit. The majority of the lions have a normal, even imposing, physique, indicating an adequate diet.
A sick lion
However, one lion caught the team's attention. This visibly ill animal was lying in its cage while the others roamed around. Its physical condition was worrying: its skin had sores, attracting flies. This particular case required prompt veterinary attention to prevent any risk of infection or complications.
Beyond the health of the animals, the park itself inspires confidence. The facilities are maintained in a satisfactory state of cleanliness, which contributes to the overall well-being of the residents.
