According to Libération, the intimate video at the heart of this attempted extortion of funds opposing Pape Abdoulaye Seck, the son of former Prime Minister Idrissa Seck, to Dame Amar, son of the late businessman Ameth Amar, shows the latter in a situation of "orgy".
As reported by the same source, the complainant claims that the accused sent him, via Snapchat, an intimate video filmed without his knowledge. Dame Amar states: "He threatened to release it on social media if I didn't pay him money."
The newspaper reveals that the images in question depict the plaintiff and "7 naked women." This blackmail was accompanied by messages such as "you'll see, you big faggot..." or the following ultimatum: "you have two minutes or you'll be sent around the world."
When questioned by investigators, Abdoulaye Seck attempted to justify his actions by claiming he acted "preventively." He maintained that a woman named "Sabrine" had sent him the videos, threatening to release them if Ms. Amar didn't pay. According to his version of events, her messages were not extortion threats, but rather a way to warn the complainant. When asked about the identities of the seven women in the video, he stated that he "didn't know them," adding that they were acquaintances of the victim.
