This was my contribution and lecture to a reporter question at the Washington Economic Forum back in December 2018 . The problem of Africa. unfortunately is broader and deeper than a master plan . My guts tells me that even hundred or thousand plans will not address Africa endemic problems. The continent has long been saddled with poor leadership and bad governance. Most African leaders are lazy and worthless. Homeless of yesterday became billionaires today thanks to taxpayers money and to resources provided by developed countries to improve people living standards. Since my young age, I keep hearing this song of development assistance, despite major economic plans and billions of dollars in aid, Africa does not emerge as hoped and It is still lagging behind. If am not wrong Africa accounts only for 2% of the global industry compared to Asia with 40%. Leadership and accountability are keys to everything.
When a baby diaper is dirty, change it as quickly as possible before it leads to a rash. Most African leaders are dirty and they need to be changed for the sake of Africa and its peoples.
