Akon pays moving tribute to Mbacké Dioum: "An Angel" who invests himself for others

Akon rend un hommage émouvant à Mbacké Dioum : "Un Ange" qui s'investit pour les autres

International star Akon (Alioune Badara Thiam) paid a vibrant and very personal tribute to his friend and collaborator, Mbacké Dioum, saluting his selfless dedication.

The Senegalese-American artist expressed his admiration in strong terms, even using a laudatory Wolof nickname. "Mbacké Malakala" (which means "Mbacké the Angel" in Wolof), he said, emphasizing the selfless nature of his commitment.

Alioune Badara Thiam explained that Mbacké Dioum devotes himself entirely to others: "He does everything for others. He knocks on every door for others and never thinks of himself."

Akon, who described him as a "special person," concluded his tribute by emphasizing his constant patriotism: Mbacké Dioum is a person "who invests a lot in his country."
