ECOFEST 2025 : La chanteuse Queen Rima casse encore la baraque à Dakar !

Winner of the RFI 2025 Discovery Prize, Guinean singer Queen Rima once again distinguished herself this Wednesday, December 3rd, at the African Renaissance Monument. This was through a thrilling show organized as part of the celebration of West African art and culture, commonly known as ECOFEST.

Queen Rima's performance stood out among those of other artists from the sub-region, who all contributed to the success of this great cultural celebration in Dakar.

The Guinean artist has once again showcased her artistic talent. A singer and dancer, she captivated the large audience that came to support her.

The choreographer and artist, Queen Rima, is today one of the figures who make Africa proud on the international stage, accumulating successes and popular hits. This is in addition to her RFI Discovery Award.

Organised by the ECOWAS and WAEMU Commissions, in partnership with Senegal, ECOFEST highlights the central role of culture in regional integration and development.

The festival aims to celebrate the richness and diversity of West African artistic and cultural heritage, whether tangible or intangible.

The event continues until December 7th. Numerous activities and concerts are scheduled for this evening in several cultural venues and structures in the Senegalese capital, namely the Blaise Senghor Regional Cultural Center, the Douta Seck Cultural Center, and the African Renaissance Monument, starting at 6 PM.

Félicitations pour cette initiative culturelle. Il faut maintenant travailler à renforcer cet événement pour en faire un moment culturel phare de la sous région. Il faut que les populations dakaroises et environs s'approprient cet événement
