The participation of the commune of Niamone (Bignona department) in the Porlahla festival in Kouto, Ivory Coast, is attracting considerable attention. The delegation of about fifty people, led by Mayor Atab Badji, stands out as one of the most visible presences at this festival.

Between gratitude and satisfaction with the welcome received, the mayor of Niamone highlighted the diplomatic role and the assumed cultural identity of this mission that he is leading in Ivorian soil.

The town of Kouto was transformed into a true cultural crossroads during the Porlahla festival, where the Senegalese presence did not go unnoticed.
