Fête Nationale : Dakar au rythme de RéKK FEST
Considered one of the major cultural events in West Africa, RéKK FEST aims to make Dakar a hub for music and culture. This initiative is spearheaded by the Sparring Agency, Kiss Events, and Live Nation, in partnership with Vouzénou. Coinciding with Senegal's National Day, the festival will take place on April 4th on the esplanade of the Grand Théâtre in Dakar, bringing together talented Senegalese, African, and French artists. Audiences will be able to see Joé Dwet Filé and Merveille from France, Soria Ramos from Cape Verde, Didi B from Ivory Coast, and KeBlack from Congo. From Senegal, Dip Doundou Guiss, Ndakhté Lo, and Cherifou will be there to add to the excitement of the event.
Speaking to the press, the organizers stated that all necessary arrangements have been made to offer a thrilling spectacle and a grand event for culture enthusiasts. According to Khadim Dia, the goal is to establish this as a recurring event for the enjoyment of the Senegalese public and its diaspora. Thanks to modern staging, the esplanade of the Grand Théâtre will be transformed into a true performance space, offering a powerful cultural experience to celebrate the national holiday.
