Oussouye : La date du "Humeubeul", fête du roi, connue
The kingdom of Oussouye will celebrate its sovereign on September 28, 29, and 30, 2025, through the "Humeubeul" festivities. This follows the royal decree setting the days chosen for this great Kassa event.
This great festival brings together, at the end of each winter, all the villages of the kingdom: Oussouye, Kahinda, Oukout, Boukitingo, Carounate, Mlomp, etc. A traditional festival of peace and communion, the "Humeubeul" is often organized at the end of September. On this occasion, dances, prayers and wrestling matches are organized. This king's festival is an opportunity to thank God for giving rain and to pray for good harvests and peace.
The "Humeubeul" being a major traditional and cultural event in Kassa, no other activity is permitted during the entire duration of the celebrations dedicated to the king in Oussouye.
