Kaolack : Crack, ecstasy et lubrifiant "nekh nekh", le cocktail explosif d'un réseau démantelé !
A complaint from exasperated neighbors led the Kaolack Research Brigade to dismantle a prostitution ring and international drug trafficking operation in a single night. Two individuals were brought before Prosecutor Abass Yaya Wane on Wednesday.
It all began with a complaint filed with the Research Brigade (BR) of the Kaolack gendarmerie company by three tenants of a building in the Ngane neighborhood. They denounced their roommate, a certain MDDiop, a prostitute with a health card, who was receiving clients on the first floor of the building. The comings and goings of men at late hours had eventually alerted the neighbors.
Armed with this information, members of the Saloum Brigade, under the command of Warrant Officer Modou Ndiaye, went to the scene around 2:00 a.m. There, investigators discovered a large number of men queuing to satisfy their desires. Upon seeing the gendarmes, they fled. In the room, investigators found MDDiop in the company of a certain MM Sarr, identified as a pimp.
The search of the room revealed an impressive haul: 256 male condoms, 19 female condoms, 60 sachets of lubricant, and a bottle of local lubricant commonly known as "nekh nekh," according to exclusive information obtained by Seneweb. Also found were scales, Rizla rolling papers, and lighters, all indications suggesting other illicit activities. The two individuals were immediately taken to the BR (Brigade de Recherches - Research Brigade) for further investigation.
The pimp, in reality a major drug trafficker
The analysis of Mr. Sarr's mobile phone will take the case to a new level. WhatsApp conversations discovered on the device reveal that he is in fact a major drug supplier, providing drugs to dealers in Kaffrine, Kaolack, and Fatick. He collected his supplies in Gambia by motorcycle before distributing the merchandise to his retailers.
The motorcycle, quickly located and stopped in front of the building where the arrest took place, was subjected to a thorough search. Concealed in the vehicle's fairings, the gendarmes discovered 66 ecstasy tablets and 24.5 grams of crack cocaine. When questioned about the origin and destination of these narcotics, Mr. Sarr admitted to having bought them in Gambia to resell to his clients in the three towns.
Mr. Sarr and Mr. MDDiop were brought before Prosecutor Abass Yaya Wane, head of the Kaolack prosecutor's office, for criminal association, offenses against public morals, endangering the lives of others, complicity, possession, sale and international trafficking of drugs.
