Comment le ‘Baltazar’ Russe a attiré dans sa chambre une femme mariée revenant de l’église
A video that went viral in Kenya has sparked a wave of indignation and curiosity on the internet in recent days.
The video shows Yaytseslav, the Russian national nicknamed the 'Russian Balthazar' whose notoriety seems to be skyrocketing on social media, approaching a married Kenyan woman, a mother, as she returns home on a hot afternoon, apparently after a religious service.
In this filmed sequence, the man easily stops the passerby and strikes up a conversation as if it were a simple neighborhood encounter. After a brief exchange of pleasantries – in which one senses a relaxed, even charming tone – Yaytseslav quickly asks the young woman for her phone number.
According to what can be seen in the video and what internet users are reporting, the married woman gave him her contact information without much hesitation. But the Russian man's next move caused a sensation online: he openly invited her to join him later that evening at his hotel.
The most troubling thing about this case? The woman in question – who is married and a mother – reportedly accepted the invitation, going to the hotel that very evening.
It was only when the video began circulating widely that Kenyan internet users, keen sleuths of the web, started to identify the protagonists. And then, the scandal took on a whole new dimension: the woman's husband was reportedly an elder (or an official) in a local church.
The revelation sparked a flurry of comments, ranging from sarcasm and indignation to ironic compassion for the husband. Many are questioning Yaytseslav's identity and true intentions, as he seems to be engaging in this type of filmed encounter on a growing number of occasions.
