AFFAIRE ASER-AEE POWER : Thierno Alassane Sall dénonce une forfaiture à la Cour suprême
MP Thierno Alassane Sall remains determined to fight for the truth to come out in the ASER-AEE POWER EPC affair. Having recently filed a complaint with the Financial Judicial Pool and been questioned by the gendarmerie as part of an investigation, he has seen the case take a new turn.
According to him, this case was the subject of a hearing this Wednesday at the Supreme Court on the aspect of the appeal for abuse of power which had been filed by ASER on October 24, 2024. He indicated that following the pleadings, the case was adjourned for deliberation until January 21, 2026.
"We draw the attention of the President of the Republic and the High Council of the Judiciary to what is happening at the Supreme Court, which appears to be a second breach of trust by the same jurisdiction in this case. The case has been assigned to the 2nd Civil and Commercial Chamber, whereas it is an appeal for abuse of power, an appeal in administrative matters, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Administrative Chambers," announced the president of the Republic of Values (RV) party.
For him, the most worrying aspect of this case is that it was the president of this same 2nd Civil and Commercial Chamber who issued the withdrawal order of February 21, 2025, thus neutralizing, without any serious "new element", the initial order issued by one of the advisors of the Administrative Chambers.
In any case, Thierno Alassane Sall believes that any Supreme Court decision will be null and void. "Just like the withdrawal order, it could in no way unblock the project. The Spanish lenders are demanding, in vain, clear explanations regarding the use of the 37 billion CFA franc advance. This intervention by the Supreme Court would simply be aimed at muddying the waters in a context where the Colobane research section, acting on instructions from the Financial Judicial Pool, is resolutely pursuing its investigations to shed light on the destination of the 37 billion."
