Haute Cour de justice : Les anciens ministres Sophie Gladima et Ismaïla Madior Fall envoyés en procès
This is only the second time in Senegal's political history that government ministers have been brought before the High Court of Justice. Following Prime Minister Mamadou Dia, an emblematic figure of the political crisis under President Léopold Sédar Senghor, and his co-defendants for the attempted coup in 1962, two former ministers from Macky Sall's regime will be tried before this court.
These are former Minister of Justice, Ismaïla Madior Fall, and Aïssatou Sophie Gladima, former Minister of Mines and Geology.
According to Seneweb, the investigating committee referred these two cases to the trial court on January 7, 2026. The investigating committee, headed by the First President of the Dakar Court of Appeal, Abdoulaye Ba, thus definitively closed their cases as part of the accountability process.
Aïssatou Sophie Gladima has been charged in connection with the Force Covid-19 fund for misappropriation of public funds, while Ismaïla Madior Fall is being prosecuted for corruption and related practices.
At this political and judicial stage, the court will be composed of full judges elected by the National Assembly. It will be presided over by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, assisted by the President of the Criminal Chamber of that court. Of the eight members of parliament appointed as judges, only one is from the opposition; the others belong to the presidential coalition. The public prosecutor's office is represented by the Attorney General at the Supreme Court.

Puisque Madame Gladima a quitté son poste entre temps son successeur ne veut pas s'impliquer.
Par la suite les corps de contrôle passent et révèlent le problème. D'accord il y a une anomalie mais on oublie que le contexte du covid-19 a ralenti l'activité du monde entier. De là à déduire qu'il y a détournement, c'est abuser de son pouvoir.
