Saly Portudal : surpris en flagrant délit, un vigile agresse son patron
A 50-year-old security guard, Abdoulaye S., is accused of burglarizing and assaulting his employer, Abdoulaye T., in his restaurant in Saly Portudal.
According to L'Observateur, which attended the hearing, the incident took place on the night of September 1: the owner received an alert from his video surveillance system and caught his employee stealing eggs, drinks, cigarettes, and lamps. Caught in the act, the security guard violently attacked his boss with a knife before being arrested by the police.
During the trial, Abdoulaye S. denied the charges, claiming he was only trying to secure the restaurant due to the rain. Convinced of his guilt, the prosecutor requested a two-year prison sentence. The verdict will be delivered on September 16, according to the daily newspaper of the Future Media Group.
