Assemblée nationale : Ouverture de la deuxième session parlementaire extraordinaire, ce jour
Following a first extraordinary session last August, the President of the National Assembly, El Malick Ndiaye, opened the second extraordinary parliamentary session of the year on Monday, September 15.
On the agenda, three (3) bills, with major economic and fiscal implications, will be submitted to the deputies for examination in the coming days. According to the communication services of the parliamentary institution, these are the bill amending the Fee on Access to or Use of the Public Telecommunications Network (RUTEL), Bill No. 17/2025 amending Law No. 2012-31 of December 31, 2012 on the General Tax Code and Bill No. 16/2025 on the Investment Code.
"These texts should spark lively debates within the chamber, in a context marked by the authorities' desire to adapt the fiscal and regulatory framework to the country's new economic challenges," they indicate.
