Déthié Fall annonce la couleur : «La directive du Premier ministre sera appliquée de façon militaire…»
Appointed Minister of Infrastructure, Déthié Fall made his first handover this Monday. It was at the Ministry of Fisheries, where he will now oversee the Port Infrastructure Directorate. From the outset, the new government official assured that the pace will be intense.
"Some countries are ahead of us, so we need to be more determined to catch up or get ahead of them. All companies that want to work with the Ministry of Infrastructure must be prepared to work day and night. Those that don't have this attitude will not, in any case, be recruited and will not work with us. And this directive will be strictly enforced in a military manner," promises Déthié Fall.
The new government member declares that "the pace of work will be sustained." Because, when the new government's list was published, the Prime Minister had instructed ministers to work 20 hours a day. "That's the minimum. And the maximum expected of all those who want to work with the Ministry of Infrastructure is to be available 24 hours a day," warns Déthié Fall. For him, the projects that will be launched will have to "be carried out day and night."
